Chapter 6 of 7
Privacy and security
What is sent about you, what is kept, and what is not.
No account
You never sign up or log in, so there is no password to leak.
What is sent
Your amounts, how often and for how long are sent to the server over HTTPS only to calculate the plan. They travel inside the request, not in the web address, and are not saved in a database.
What is logged
Like almost every website, the server keeps standard access logs: the time, the page requested and a network address. Cloudflare, which protects the site, also sees these requests.
What stays on your device
Your language and theme choices are saved in your browser’s local storage so you are not asked again. A plan’s numbers can sit after the # in the address so you can bookmark it; browsers never send that part to any server.
Ads
Space is reserved for ads in future. If ads are added, this page will name the ad network and say what it collects.
Security
The connection between your browser and this site is encrypted with HTTPS.
Visit counting
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits to this site: which page, roughly which country, and which kind of browser and device. It sets no cookies and builds no profile of you. There are no advertising or other tracking scripts, and the fonts and files come from this site itself, not from Google.
